KanexPro has announced the new HDMX44-4K and HDMX88-4K — HDCP 2.2 matrix switchers with 4K @60Hz in either 4×4 or 8×8 options. The 4×4 HDMI matrix switcher includes four inputs and four outputs with audio de-embedding, the latest HDCP 2.2 specs and supported video resolutions up to 4096×2160 at 60Hz. The 8×8 version is similar to the 4×4, but it boasts eight inputs and eight outputs. Both provide switching of less than 0.2 second and are controlled via Ethernet, RS232 and IR.
The 4×4 and 8×8 switchers provide four or eight additional audio ports via S/PDIF connectors to support de-embedding from HDMI and expedient firmware upgrades through micro USB ports. The switchers transmit 4K x 2K at 60Hz signal up to 15 meters and feature easy installation through their sleak, rack-mounting design.
